About 3C Uganda

Climate & Conservation Community (3C Uganda)

Empowering Communities. Protecting Climate. Conserving Nature.

Who We Are

3C Uganda (Climate & Conservation Community) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to strengthening the connection between people, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation across Uganda.

We work at the intersection of environmental protection and community empowerment, ensuring that conservation is not just about safeguarding ecosystems, but about improving livelihoods, enhancing resilience, and creating sustainable economic opportunities.

Founded in response to the growing climate crisis and environmental degradation in Uganda, 3C Uganda has evolved into a community-centered movement driving practical, science-based, and inclusive solutions for long-term sustainability.

Message from the Executive Director

Leading the Charge for a Resilient Uganda

"Welcome to 3C Uganda.

As we navigate the complexities of 2026, Uganda stands at a critical crossroads. Our nation is blessed with unparalleled biodiversity, from the mist-covered peaks of the Rwenzoris to the vibrant ecosystems of the Albertine Rift. Yet, these very landscapes, and the millions of Ugandans who depend on them, are increasingly vulnerable to the shifting rhythms of our climate.

At 3C Uganda, we believe that conservation is not a luxury; it is a necessity for our survival and economic future. Our mission is built on the Triple-C approach: Climate resilience, Conservation integrity, and Community empowerment. We are no longer just talking about the future; we are building it through youth-led innovation, forest restoration, and science-backed advocacy.

Whether we are mentoring the next generation of green entrepreneurs through the PachiPanda Challenge or working alongside the Uganda Wildlife Authority to protect our endangered species, our goal remains the same: to ensure that Uganda's development goes hand-in-hand with the protection of our natural heritage.

I invite you to explore our work, partner with us, and join this movement. Together, we can turn climate challenges into opportunities for a greener, stronger Uganda."
